Hi,

Thanks for your offer of providing more information on this trig point.

i have access to a near impossible to get to trig point,
what info from the trig point do people need that i could get for them ??
can't do pictures though.

I'm guessing from the prohibition on pictures that this trig might be on a
military site? The name of the location would be of interest.

In terms of descriptive detail, any/all of the following would be helpful:
- the flush bracket number (typically 4 digits with an 'S' prefix)
- then for the plug at the centre of the top surface:
- plug present/absent;
- type of material if plug present (metal, plastic, asphalt,...)
- lettering (raised/recessed) if a metal plug
- then general remarks on trig condition, for example any cracks, spalling or other damage
and the state of the paintwork in any.
- any information on the location such as proximity to other nearby structures (buildings, fences,...)
and availability of views from the trig to more distant objects

Thanks!,
Ted

Confirmation of the flush bracket number would be very welcome.

Is the access physical or by drone? Met a young lad in the field behind my house with one last week- those things can really shift and would make a 'visit' quick and easy. Using a drone on military land might get you into more than a little trouble however. Would it even count as a bag? If aphysical visit can anyone else tag along? Look forward to your report.

no drone, i would get locked up for that,
can't get access for anyone .
as said can't do pics but can get details from the pillar for people as it's in mod land.
