A short but steep walk with rocky steps and a family of friendly cows on route!Lots of other walkers here today having to queue for pics at the trig ! But the views were gorgeous overlooking Lake Windermere, 3rd and last walk of the day and what a brilliant day. Thank u Ali and Chris x

Climbed with Alison and Chris, weather lovely, warm and sunny. Started from Kents Bank Railway. First part of the walk a bit marshy and muddy, then through the lovely woods and on to Humphrey Head itself, lovely views and a change of scenery overlooking the sea and over to Morecambe Bay, where we sat on the rocks and ate our lunch and the 2nd walk of the day ccompleted, love it.

The weather not too good today, very misty and raining. The walk was quite steep from the off set , we was going to carry on to Cats Tor and complete the 7 mile circular but decided against it because of the bad weather and the mist spoiling views .

I climbed this with my cousin Alison and her husband Chris, halfway up the heavens opened and we were soaked, it made the climb quite slippyt the amomgst the rocks but the scenery and views from the summit made it all worth while, make sure you make the short walk at the summit to view Loughrigg Fell.
