Definitely looks like it is destroyed. The entire building has been demolished and the area is now a green space. It is also inaccessible, as it is now located within a high security site.

I have passed many times and not been able to find this trig. Looking at an old map (link below) and comparing it to a more recent map, I suspect the road used to follow the path of the bridleway to the east of the current road. Walked to this trig after finding the nearby Church Micro geocache. It was quite an unusual woodland to walk through. Definitely an unusual place for a trig point. It can even be seen from Google Street View! Some slight damage to the north face of the trig.

Out for a geocaching walk today with this trig on route. The geocaches were a bit disappointing, bit this trig is amazing. It is in great condition and has amazing views. It was a great place for a quick stop. It was a bit strange seeing two trigs in one spot. Turns out one was a donation box for the National Trust. The name of the trig was also a bit confusing (It is different on OS maps).
