This was the third of our Three Peaks walk today. We had made good progress but the final big climb was hard work. Overall, my GPSr logged 27.5 miles with 9 hours of walking plus 1.5 hours stopped for geocaches. After this peak we walked back to Horton via the scenic Trow Gill.

The second of our Three Peaks of Yorkshire walk. Ironic that the trigpoint is in Cumbria. We ended up doing 27.5 miles and my GPSr reported 9 hours of walking. with some breaks for geocaches.

I first visited this trig in July 2014, on a walk while in the way up to see the Tour de France in Swalwdale. Today, this was our first of the three peaks on a beautiful day.

I walked up here as part of a geocaching trip. The trigpoint is part of a puzzle cache. A slightly slippy climb along the very beginning of the Cotswold Way footpath. Not much of a view in the gloom today.
