Visited on a 2 trig circular from the train station at Long Preston, up onto The Pennine Way to Settle (via 1st trig Hunter Bark)then right past Scaleber Force waterfall and onto Langber lane to head back. Accessed the land through a gate in the wall, easy climb up the moorside. When I set off it was glorious sunshine but I arrived at the trig in thick fog so could see nothing of the supposedly great views. Shame, but I may revisit as I really enjoyed the circular walk.

Bagged it by taking a detour off the Pennine Way Route from Gargrave to Airton. Easy to spot and reach. Good views on a fine day and the ground below makes for good photos due to it being an old quarry. Pillar in good condition. Centre cap in spider a little worn but still there.

Approached it from the road as the footpath that leads through the field which it is in, doesn't pass the trig and I had dogs with me / sheep in field. It was winter time so that helped me spot it as it was hidden in the hedge. I would imagine that in summer you wouldn't spot it for the leaves. Must be the most hidden / boring trig I've bagged to date but its right by the road so easy to get to, just hard to see it.

Walked up from Ogden Reservoirs. Nice gradual climb. Overcast day but the views were still fantastic. Shame someone has decided to write their names on the trig with marker then dump the pen on the ground. Grrr! This was my third visit, always on a still day and always windy at the top. Remind me not to visit on a really windy day, I imagine I'd get blown away.

Part of the top of the pillar has come away. Bagged this while walking the Dales Highway. Scrambled up though the heather to get to it but then realised that there is a small path leading to it from the "Noon" stone at the opposite end of the field. Came back down this way! Much easier!

Bagged it from the pavement. It's just a few feet into the mill yard but the mill is now houses and there were people outside glaring at me as if they thought I was going to trespass in their "back yard." I had already been told off for stepping onto some grass to let a car go by on a narrow road with no pavement. Laugh!

Carleton chimney..... From a distance in it's setting Couldn't get a closer pic, the people living in the mill houses were glaring at me for just looking at it. Took this from a safer distance. :-)

Bagged it on the way to Knarr Hill Trig. Walked past the Alma inn, jumped over the stile and it's just there in the field. Easy to bag but not much going on there. A bit boring scenery-wise.

Initially struggled to find the path up to it and made a mad scramble through the heather from the Pennine Way (as advised by a local man who was passing) I then saw a row of grouse butts and followed them up to the top where the trig was situated. Lovely sunny day. Could see Stoodley pike in the distance

Bagged this pillar on a 13 mile circular from Laneshawbridge, along Pendle Way through Wycoller, Towards Coldwell Inn and back through Trawden. Boulsworth Hill didn't look very interesting until we reached the top where there are lots of interesting rocks and we could see snow covered hills way in the distance up the Yorkshire Dales. It is VERY boggy up there, so some bits were a struggle but well worth it.

Parked at Bancroft mill in Barnoldswick and walked up the Pendle Way to bag the trig. Followed the road (On the left after the trig) down to meet a bridleway on the left back into Barnoldswick. There is a bolt type trig point in the wall by the bridleway sign too. and we passed sculptures of Greek Gods outside a house on the way back! Like you do! 5 Mile round trip. Great views of Pendle Hill and down into Barnoldswick!

Easy to get to, parked literally where the road ended and the path started in Skipton and walked up the Dales Highway towards the moor, branching off through a small gate to climb the hill. The day was overcast but still really enjoyable. The views must be amazing on a clear day. There are 3 memorial cairns up there too, so plenty to see. Trig in good condition.
