Nice approach through the woods then across a couple fields following the row. Pillar sits under a lovely old beech tree which has grown to block some views. Fairly fresh coat of paint, more cream than pure white but nice to see it looked after. Plastic cap in spider.

1st new pillar since the Covid-19 lockdown was eased. Drove up minor road to just beyond boundary line then a yomp across the moor to reach a stile in the corner then a further yomp. Very mossy pillar, spider bracket exposed on 2 ends due to crumbling. Bit hazy but extensive views. Large amounts of Curlew, Oyster Catcher and Lapwing about.

Last of 3 on the way home from Beamish, viewed with the aid of a head torch as dusk. Seems in reasonable condition, flush bracket faces the roadside which makes life easier!
