This is an easy trig to visit. There is space for 3 cars off road just 30 yds from the trig which is just behind a dry stone wall. If you like views of Ewood Park and Darwen then this is your dream trig ??.

As others have said - this trig point is under high security and surveillance so it's only visible from outside of the outer fence. The trig appears to be in good condition and is unpainted

An underground reservoir stands where this used to be. There are good views when there's a break in the trees to Preston to the west and West Pennine moors to the east. It's a short and pleasant walk to it, passing a lovely flooded quarry.

I walked up from Mockbeggar. A lovely walk with plenty of horses, deer and cows. The trig is painted brilliant white, though it's a shame the flush plate gas been overpainted too. It's had so many coats the numbers are becoming illegible. Great views. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely walk to the trig which is on Hampton Ridge. It is set back slightly from the main path but is easily found. Great views.

Parked on Higher House Lane. Its about .75 mile to Grey Heights and there's nice walks through the woods. A large cairn greets you at Grey Heights which was the location of the trig. Sadly no evidence of the trig is visible
