Nice walk up from the coastal side of the hill. Look at aerial maps and you can clearly see the Landrover track up and through the gorse.

Golf course road just by the club house. A feature so its future looks assured.

Great location, right on an ancient hillfort which is 3/4 intact. I cycled up from Thorntonloch via Oldhamstocks, which is a lovely route. The farm road is pretty good to the top and clearly sign posted for the hillfort.

Pretty grim muddy field, pillar is in good condition but moved as others have said. Only go if you're a completist or passing anyway.

Muddy but nice location. Not very high so views are not the best but the hills to the south are in clear view. Dog loved the mud and sheep poo!

Intact top and flush bracket. Easy access via the service road for the radio masts. I cycled up, beware the cattle grids which are knackered with detours round them. Keeping close to the trees after the last gate seems best, the ground is very soft in other places.

Fairly easy access from the Cove roundabout on the John Muir Way marked path. Take a right at the field after the old bridge, there's a wooden fence section so you can avoid the usual excessive barbed wire. Pillar is a short distance West along the cliff top.

Good path from the road to the quarry. Stay outside the fence, pillar is in the field.

Great location. The ponies which keep the grass short are lovely, 13 of them now although we only saw 12 today. Pillar top has been concreted and a "Do not feed the ponies" sign attached to it!

Easily accessible from the Scottish Heritage Doon Hill car park. There's excessive barbed wire but there's a gap between the fields lined with short wind-battered trees and you can just duck under the wire at the end. Fantastic view over Dunbar and the river. Field ploughed right up to the pillar but pillar in pretty good order.

Great views in all directions. The top is gone, but the pillar is very aesthetic. I came up from Pressmennan but I'd recommend the route through Pathhead Farm, off the road up to Halls Farm - I went down that way and it's a lot less hassle!

Golf course was abandoned several years ago. Makes for nice easy walking. I took the Becky's Strip path past the workshop, and over the stile into the site. I exited on the East where the new owners have fitted a dog gate by another stile.

Old pavement has been lifted and dumped on top of the location. I'll return with a proper garden fork to see if this can be located. See photo for current conditions.

Beautiful views. Coming up from the east, cross into the north field to avoid bog in the south field. There's an electric fence unfortunately so bring a rubble sack or similar for safe climbing.
