Pulled this one in whilst enroute up to Boothby Graffoe, like some of the other triggers before us we couldn't find a way through the barbed wire and because of all the rain we've had we're content with just seeing it in it's position.

Came up to this one from our nearby campsite, struggled initially with this as we were looking for something a bit more substantial, it was a good job we brought along a printout of previous logs otherwise we'd have missed it, the log from Pharisee was the most useful for us. Not a very interesting place.

Also being wary of being accosted by angry farmers we went to Acre farm and spoke to the farmer there who gave his permission, he was not very kind about people who just walk up to the trig without permission, he said a spot of common courtesy doesn't go amiss, we too were told about the easy access from the gate and he even suggested a nice little walk on such a pleasant sunny evening. Excellent views from up here with just a hint of haze, you could see Lincoln Cathedral and the Humber Bridge.

Hurrah, this was our 2nd visit to this trig, the last being in July 2006, this time we went straight to the gate and then it was a quick walk to the corner of the field where we saw the trig nestling under the trees.A lovely day for a spot of Trigpointing.

FB Number: Not logged Condition: Good Score: 3/10
This is our 1st Bolt and it was quite an easy find, must be because of all the hard work previous triggers had done to expose it, it didn't give quite the same buzz as finding a pillar, but after all it's not about the numbers is it? The post in the ground mentioned by the Trigpoint Bears is no longer there.

Walked up to this one from Cut End and also had a spot of caching, this is the nearest Trig to our house and it's taken us this long to log it, how lazy! Whilst we were here the Boston Pilot Boat escorted a ship out of the Haven and then another one back in. Also logged as YSM200

This was harsh, we spent ages walking up and down the edge of the field looking for this, it wasn't until we started crawling along that we saw it through all the foliage, it was totally invisible. But i'm glad we found it.

Little Fish was dispatched into the field to retrieve the FB number.
