Trigpoint is ghostly white. Well forested area so views aren't great, though it's a great place to walk. Passed a large bird of prey on the side of the road as I pulled up. It was very impressive as it flew off.

After doing maintenance on one of our caches at King Arthur's Cave (GCWCDP) I brought the dogs up here. Easily reached the trig, which is in a clearing, via loads of paths through woodland, though I did end up coming back down a private drive. Met the owner who was more than pleasant. Shame about the road noise from the A40 and the lack of views, otherwise a lovely place.

Buckstone On this visit we snapped some stags and had to stop in the road for several wild boar. Also a body was found dumped in a parking area across the road. They reckon it was a mafia killing from Cardiff, just dumping the body here - so it's safe to visit. A busy day all in all!©SidAndBob
