High score given for unusual location - in the middle of a pheasant wood! Nice sunny day - short walk over a couple of fields, through a broken down drystone wall and a barbed wire fence - nice wood

Car South out of Hartley, past quarry to end of road, park car by junction of footpath and bridleway. Took bridleway to footpath signed to Nine Standards Rig - fantastic day, beautiful moorland scenery with interesting gully to the left for a lot of the ascent. Unbelievable - I tracked a route on GPS all the way from car park, then deleted track on way back!
