Personal details:Lifelong summit bagger, fairly late convert to trigging: pre 2002 pillar logs were only location ticks - quite a few Munros, Corbetts and lower hills subsequently revisited for meaningful logs. Wales surviving pillars completed in 2008 and England in 2011; passed the 6000-pillar milestone in 2011; (plus 40ish which are just fragments and empty bases). Final extant pillar bagged April 2016 (Benarty); 10,000th trig visited in 2015; FBMs completed Sept 2017 (Windsor Castle). What with Intersected Stations, Blocks, etc there is no immediate danger of running out of them.
