Pillar in good condition located in a field of grass. Easy parking to the east by the road junction.

Bagged while geocaching here. It is interesting that this is TP0010. I searched TP0001 (in Shetland) and the other low numbers, seems to be random?!

If only all pillars were as easy to find, near somewhere to park and accessible my hit rate would be a bit higher but then it wouldn’t be as much fun. From a small patch of ground to park on at the intersection of three roads, enter field from north through swing gate. Pillar is towards the south west on the right. Pleasant location views limited to the field in which it stands, surrounded by trees.

Easily found on the circular walk with Helen and Molly from Kemsing Down and through Otford looking for Orchids and Dark Green Fritillaries.

Not much of a view but extra stars for the treck to get there. Quite the hill up from the village of Otford. Collected as part of a longer North Downs Way walk towards Trosley. Some stonking views of the Weald not long after the trig. Very windy on top of the hills. Was going to have lunch by the trig but was forced to hide in the trees behind for my sarnie.

Walk from Dunton Green to Wrotham

Short walk across a pasture from parking on the grassed triangle at rd junc to E. Pillar has central tube plugged but unable to deermine the material, asphalt possibly, but painted so may be composite; LHS sight hole opne, rear plug degraded. Views limited to the pasture due to surrounding trees.

Standing peacefully in a meadow, this is an easy trig to find as it is on the NDW and visible from the road. Good condition and a nice tranquil location so a score of 7!

Very early in the day (for us) on a North Downs Way walk from Otford to the Medway Bridge. Surrounding trees completely obscured the view and a grey day to boot - not my favourite trig.

Very easy Trig point to find. There is a nice convenient place to park up in the middle of a triangular traffic island/interchange at the junction of two single track country lanes. Before I could even get out of the car I could see the Trig sitting in the middle of a grassy field. A pleasant location with 360 degree coverage of established trees obscuring any views. The Trig is in good condition and is also a GPS passive station. The centre cap has been replaced with a white cap of some description.

In field with high trees all round the outside, so no views as such, but pretty location with bluebells in the hedgeline nearby.
