Approached from northwest. Parked at Dhiseig NM493359. Followed mapped path to summit. Lower sections of path were boggy in places, no problem further up. Debris in summit wind shelter. Original pillar and replacement pillar both destroyed. The only visible remains are the pillar bolt, some angle iron and scattered debris. View lost to low cloud on day of visit. Should have primary sight line intervisibilty with Ben Hynish (Tiree), Ben Hogh (Coll), Meall nan Con, Creach Bheinn, Ben Cruachan, Carra Duagh, Jura (Beinn an Oir), Beinn Tart a' Mhill (Islay).

Started from Dhiseig. Summit cloud covered but cleared a couple of times before we got there. Cloudy at the summit shelter and people have completely covered the remains with a cairn. Removed a few stones to reveal metal base of the remains
Remains Metal base

Smashingly long first day on Mull, rewarded with cracking views and this 'remaining' doubler just before the skies opened. Remains are under the cairn.

Just the base of the trig left, but what a great location with views for miles. Ascended via the Graham Beinn Fhada & then a scramble up A'Choich ridge to the summit of Ben More. Had a wee dram of The Balvenie 12 year old Doublewood on the summit to mark the occasion & my 46th birthday.

Excellent weather, after the deluge of earlier in the week. Superb views. Remains of bolt and base of trig present, with rocks balanced on top.

second visit and the illustrious ocasion of the final Munro of the new youngest Munroist, Ben Fleetwood aged 10 years and 91 days. All the Munros done between age 6 and now over three and a half years, all of them with dad John and many of them during the two previous hard snowy winters!!

My Munro #241 climbed alone, on a day that started with absolutely horrendous weather, exactly as forecast, but by 3pm had cleared up to be far better than forecast, so late afternoon I took the opportunity to do a quick bag of the Munro via the 'Tourist' route from Dhiseig, not proud of route selection...Examining the photos I took at the summit the remains of the TP perching on the ironwork is clearly visible in a number of pictures, though I wasn't aware at the time this was the remains of a TP. Doesn't need any more from me to say how fabulous the views are from here!

Started and ended at Dhiseig and was the windiest day I’ve ever encountered on a mountain with 60-70mph winds, got blown over many times and loved every second

Remains (of a stonebuilt as per 1983 pic) present in centre of shelter cairn. Concrete base plus re-bars. Fine summit, superb view. Heat wave: even at 7 a.m. uncomfortably hot on the ascent, but pleasant above 700m. Good track from NW, Dhiseig.

Outstanding views from this summit. Did a circular route up via Beinn Fhada and A'Chioch, worth the extra effort to save going up and down the same path which most people seem to do. Clear blue skies on my visit; islands Eorsa, Ulva etc really stunning.

Very retrospective log - not sure of the day but the month and year are correct. The trig condition was not noted. We took a day off from checking on DofE groups to nab this summit. Parked at NM 494 360 and dipped our toes in the sea. Walked to Scarisdale river then up to Bhein Fhada. Exciting walk along the ridge to the summit. The views were breathtaking. Clear sunshine. We were able to see to the coast of N Ireland and North to Skye (red and black Culins were easily seen). The peaks on the mainland were easily seen and there were so many we could not identify any of them. Trying to use the map proved fruitless as many were so distant they were off our maps. A truly memorable day. On the decent were returned to dip our toes in the sea again. We descended 3m more than we climbed - the tide was out on our return.
