The earlier part of the day I had spent walking the coastline northwards from Ardrossan. I came directly up here via the road after stepping off the ferry. I took a quick picture of the topograph and was then off on my way once again. I descended the hill into Millport, continued clockwise around the island and then returned to Largs as night drew in.

This is what happened when Firth of Forth, Roolku & Myself came for this trig and for the geocache that is very nearby - Well I was glaid that we made it, and so was Sean the the Cumbrea cabs taxi driver, apparently we rated in the top 3 of weird requests, and asking to go to a trig for a lunchbox is strange. He was so taken by the experience, he asked if he found it first could he get a 50p tip, we said yes, so he was up out of the car and past the trig before he even managed to get his handbrake on. In addition to his other extraordinary taxi services, such as picking up booze and fags from the mainland etc. He will now also place the cache onto the ferry for you to log in Largs, for a nominal fee of £5, hence returning it to it's hidey hole. His genuine number is 01475 530666. With thanks to Sean our whole Cumbrea experience including the waiting for the ferry and the 2 crossings were a total of 50 minutes, I think that has got to be a record visit for anyone. The trig also looked in good condition to me, perhaps I missed something.
