Photos useful, wall repair is now in need of repair. Quick prod with bagging screwdriver and bit action from the trigging trowel showed big bolt clearly. Great area but narrow eeky roads, parking at field entrance couple of yards from trig.

Location with oak sapling for reference.

Studied photo and found the station first time with the prodder in vgc some yellow paint on bolt fine views.

An easy find, referencing the recent wall repair as seen on another photo. I parked approx. 3 metres away, opened the car boot to get my spade out only to find the bolt already on display! Thanks to jonglew for the most useful photo.

Block covered again and passing place very overgrown.Found using post 'A' & measurement from road.Not bad views either!

Easy find with OS sketch - pipe nails in top of fence posts negated need for a measure (although agree measurement B is no longer 2.55m due to PN being moved to another post). Needed to prod and dig to locate it. Bolt and part of concrete block has been painted yellow.

1 inch bolt in block, SE side of road 1m back from road edge, at NE end of short section of grass verge. Partially uncovered, easily found.

dimension B is 8 m otherwise sketch correct. 1 inch bolt buried 5 cm. Yellow paint on the concrete block. Passing place very overgrown.

Found right spot with help of sketch/pics from prevoius logs/GPS but verges have been chewed up by traffic so no luck

Cumberland. A van was parked on top of where I believe the surface block to be, or at least where I needed to stand to excavate. Under the front of the van I found the marker on Fasgadh's photo, but the surface block is what Chrisbombington found and that is what we are supposed to find.

This place has changed quite a lot over the years it hardly looks like a passing place anymore and the surface block is now well buried under thick sod, if using the OS sketch for measurements ignore B the pin in top of this post is inaccurate
