Octagonal tower with little spire and base of vane. FB S7036 attached to front of church and accessed via a little garden.

A beautiful church, seen in close up if you take the old route through Hayle instead of the new A30 bypass.

Seen a couple of days before whilst passing but today I stopped to log the flush bracket. It was a Sunday and a commemorative service was just ending and I managed to get away just in time before the road was closed for a parade.

Church with vane location and existing flush bracket S7036 below.

SW63 INT028 Vane. Only the very base remains atop the spire. St Elwyn the Martyr was built 1886-88. Grade II listed building designed by architect and church restorer John D Sedding. He also designed All Saints Church Falmouth which is also an Intersected Station.
