(79) Another good walk, this time in the opposite direction to the East Marsh pillar. The light was beginning to fade fast by the time I got to this, so this had to be the last one of the day.

Viewed from the Humber embankment. Chimney slightly damaged at top. Kiln, goats, cat and assorted views of South Killingholme chemical works, estuary and docks.

Fishing pond no doubt was the clay pit for the tile/brick works. Farm is the now home of the Brick Kiln herd.

Intersection TA12/INT028, 3rd order, computed 1950, maintained 1987. The OS description is W X H CHY, more fully the chimney of Wilkinson and Houghton Brick and Tile Works. The chimney and associated kiln are Grade II listed.
