Parked on Vicarage Lane. It was a short walk from there up to the summit of Barrow Hill and the pillar. The cap is missing. Sadly, lots of grafitti on the pillar and the cross next to it. The hill is essentially the remains of an extinct volcano, and is part of local nature reserve. It ia also next to St Mark's Church, where there is a cut benchmark on the north face of a buttress on the south east face

Dumped car in small carpark in Chapel St next to Buckpool LNR. Cycled past church in Vicarage Ln where I could have parked. Then up FP to Trig. Great views and its a lovely morning to be out Trig hunting.

Easy parking by the church and short walk up. A small oasis of green in the midst of urbanisation. Suprisingly good views for such little effort and the cross adds interest - shame about the graffiti

Parked straight after church. Took the path to the right through the gate and walked up towards the cross. Trig next to it. The graffiti is back. Wish I had brought some paint with me. Lovely views on a perfect hot summers day.

Easy bag. Park just beyond the church at foot of path. Turn for housing estate off main road and the left to the church. Ascend steps after gate up to Cross and Pillar. Graffitti has been painted over. Good views to Turner's Hill, Dudley Top Church, west into Shropshire and south to the Abberley & Malvern Hills. Hill is made of Basaltic volcanic vent agglomerate of late Carboniferous age

Late bag in the dark, took a while to locate the best place to park, then headed along the tracks in the pitch black and spotted the cross before the trigpoint. Perhaps not the best place to be alone in the dark!

Cap missing and corners gnarled with all Sights open. Plenty more grafitti has appeared on both pillar and cross.. the cracking view is a tad obscured by the hilltop bushes and there must have been a healthy tree alongside or possibly pre-dating the cross?

Plastic cap, FB S side all sighting holes open. The trig itself has a few chips and evidence of graffiti. Good views though it is urban. As I was leaving saw the next visitors (2 teenagers) using the trig and cross as a climbing frame. On an information board about Barrow Hill. It was once a volcano! About 300 million years ago.

Intriguing location and religious theme. Local hospital carparking issues have resulted in cars parking over all the local roads but we managed to park near the church of St Mark. Metal top was in good order. Jacqueline and Peter

Nice short walk during lunch break, great viewpoint if you like cityscapes. Trig status unchanged from previous visitors. Was also looking for the cache but suit trowsers are not the best and came away empty handed.

Again, the flush bracket number did not match fasgadh's log! On top of hill next door to a huge 25ft. metal cross, presumably erected by the adjacent St. Mark's church? [You can park in the church carpark and access to the trig is by a gravel path/flight of steps. Good views all round, to Clee Hills westwards and Abberley/Clent southwards. Plug missing and some damage to top corners of pillar.
