Colliery headgear long gone. Next to the site is a maze (designed I think by Andy Goldsworthy).

NZ29 T87 BOLT. Listed as destroyed 1968. The area has been reclaimed and is now rough grazing land. the only colliery building still standing is at the road junction and is used as a blacksmiths workshop.
