The Grade I listed Church of St Giles is situated in the west of the pretty village of Bredon above the banks of the River Avon to the northeast of Tewkesbury. It has a large churchyard, some interesting monuments and an impressive spire. There is constant noise from the nearby motorway.

Like others, seen many times from the M5, but today I made a mental note of the time so I could add a log.

St Giles. Like CJO I have seen the 161ft spire many times from the M5. The picturesque church was built between 1190 & 1350. There is a tall obelisk milestone, dated 1808?, & a 14th C National Trust tithe barn (Bredon Barn) nearby. Lovely sunny but cold day
