Well worth paying the modest entrance fee (especially as a Launceston Steam Train ticket for the same date gets you a further 20% discount - this is not advertised). This will allow you to climb up to the roof and touch the replacement flagpole - plastic and I'd say dating from within the last 10 years. Also didn't find a bolt. Stunning views from the top especially of both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.
