Ignoring the prohibition notices this time, I found getting to this trig was bad. Had to climb over a fence that obviously used to be a stile next to trig and then fight thru thorns to get at it. Only view was back up the hill toward Hart Hill. Strangely, there was a hand made camouflaged bench next to the trig. Had lunch sitting on it. Wierd. (The bench that is, not me having lunch!)

Just a few yards to the left the trig can just be seen through the fence partially hidden in shrubbery and trees. You need to stride over the fence into the jungle to get a view of the flush bracket. Small hawthorns, brambles and nettles are trying to stop you. Not a place to wear shorts!

Crossed fence into woodland and stumbled arround fence line through lush summer growth of brambles, nettles and branches (scratches and stings to prove it) Found pillar more by accident than design. Probably easier in winter. The cemetery proved most interesting what a shame it has been allowed to become so neglected. Anyway I have lived to tell the tale.
