(481) Sobraon Barracks. Which is a '3 for 1' trig point. Nice! Never visited this building before, so was glad to take the opportunity today.

I have passed by several times thinking I should stop and make a correct record for this IS, and today I did, only to find not just one mark but three on T:UK! I don't know why this one qualifies for multiple entries when so many other multi-component station do not, but I'll accept the bonus.

North tower No flagstaff.
South and north towers The flagstaff on the south tower that confounded me!

southern tower has flagstaff fixed to west face. However the gr relates to the north tower which has none. Centre intact and logged as good, needs adding as separate trig

Intersected station TF05/T085 consisting of a bolt, the centre and a flagstaff, all 3rd order, computed 1950, 1950 and 1974 respectively, all refixed in November 1988. This is Sobraon Barracks, occupied by a company of the Royal Anglian Regiment. Later loggers have made me realise I concentrated on the wrong tower so this log and its photos have been edited accordingly.

South tower with flagstaff adjoining the entrance, but this was not the tower used as the trig station.
Flagstaff on the south tower The flagstaff referenced by the OS was on the north tower.
