St Mary the Virgin, late 13th and early 14th century, but with significant Victorian makeover (too ornate for my taste). Very impressive alabaster monuments to Rudhall family. Great views of a flooded Wye from nearby Mock Walls / Gazebo, the latter now someone's holiday home!

Wow! I have been waiting for this magnificent building to appear on the database, cheers peregrinus! St Marys, dedicated in 1316.The 205ft spire was rebuilt in 1721. It was repaired in 1852 after a lightning strike, then further repairs carried out in 1911,1952 and recently. Three of the pinacles were replaced in 1986. The Prospect offers the famous view of the Wye and its horse shoe bend. Checkout the stone 'coffin' by the spire. I now live in Hereford but Ross will always be my home

SO52/INT10. Happy to be of service, Stevie Boy :-) although you could have added it yourself! Called in at Ross for food, saw it on the way out and noticed it was on my POI file, unsurprisingly as it's a fine tall spire.
