Parked just off the A817 and a nice wee stroll to the reservoir. From here you should carry on about 1km through the valley for an easier climb, however bog factor was rather poor.So straight up at the reservoir to Beinn Chaorach which got the blood pumping.Great views from the Trig.Carried on to Beinn Tharsuinn and then Auchengaich Hill.Great few hours

Good condition trig with a chunk out one edge. Otherwise, sound. Rough concrete construction with some aggregate chunks showing. Cap missing and no plug. FB faces SE-ish with all 4 sightholes open but blocked internally. Superb 360 degree views from here. Came up the hill pretty directly from the reservoir. 3-4 car parking at the end of the reservoir road.

Damage to trig Minor damage to the trig. Small chunks taken out of one edge.

Nice views of the Gareloch from here. Pillar is in excellent condition and is built on top of a nice wee circle of stones which have the appearance of cobbles! The highest point of this hill seems to be on the other side of the fence from the trig at the cairn. I climbed this one from Glen Fruin.
