Small layby just up track at NS 2755 9042 OR parking at NS 2701 9044. Good track/atv to Beinn a'Mhanaich. Luckily path/track up just outside MOD range so OK when red flags flying. On to Beinn Chaorach after which path/atv to Beinn Tharsuinn (continues to bealach and on ridge in SW direction). Left atv at bealach to descend to track from Dam and onto car. Nice walk.

Parked at road end for reservoir. Beautiful winter's day so gtound under foot firm not boggy. Lack of fitness made the ascent over Beinn Tarsuinn harder than it should have been but views made up for it. Trig in good condition but chipped slightly on edges. Central cap missing, not plugged. There was some haze but could see that distant hills ( Ben More and north were snow covered whereas the closer hills (Arrochar Alps and Ben Lomond) snow free. Low sun hindered views to South but outline of Arran could just be made out. Too cold to linger and due to lack of fitness decided not to continue, as originally planned, to Bheinn a' Mhanaich. Noise of fire from firing range continued all day.

FB faces SE-ish with all 4 sightholes open but blocked internally. Superb 360 degree views from here. Came up the hill pretty directly from the reservoir. 3-4 car parking at the end of the reservoir road.
