At last a 100th Lancs trig. For anyone travelling through East Lancs on the 66 this is probably the most impressive landmark going. Vastly hanging over the area demanding a certain gruff respect regardless of denomination. Up close in the foul weather the sweep and glide of the hills are gorgeous as the old town huddles by newer estates... fine independent bakers by the way; Mannings.

Here to look for the associated Flush Bracket (S0441). The tower of the Parish Church of St James is currently under repair but still retains it's flagstaff.
