St Mary the Virgin Church, Uttoxeter. Very impressive Grade II listed church, which dates back to the 14th century, with the nave and chancel rebuilt in the 19th century. All good with the spire. There is a cut benchmark on the south west face

Visiting JCB nearby on business - they had jsut turned out their 1,000,000th digger. Church looks well enough - another one dedicated to a naive young girl who believed Joseph when he said he would do right by her
