Flagstaff looks to have a bit of a lean towards the top and could do with a lick of paint - any volunteers? Beautiful big church in a very interesting area. Hal enjoyed a scamper round the lawns

Stunning building. Visited on a circular walk from Dumfries, passing through Kingholm Quay, Chrichton and Castledykes Park which is the site of the ancient Dumfries Castle

An absolutely dripping morning for it, stayed at adjacent hotel so seemed rude not to bag.

Cat A listed building, 1890-7. OS lists Bolt and Flagstaff as components: presume Bolt is on tower roof - not investigated; Flagstaff is extant on tower roof.
