The church tower looked good from the outside, but will log the condition of remains as suggested.

Tower intact, looks sound, bell still ringing. Presumably declared Destr 05/95 due to the access difficulties. Remains seems the appropriate condition

St Lawrence. CBM on SW corner of tower. Why is this one destroyed - certainly the original tower and it has a centre.

Bolt recorded in OSGB36 as destroyed; tower centre looks OK but likewise recorded as destroyed on the same date. Maybe the OS decided to discard the station completely when access became an issue. Deeply incised BM on buttress. Raining steadily.

Nice church, shame about the trig points. A very clear benchmark on the r/h side of the tower door.

The church stands, but the OS records say that the Centre (and the bolt nearby) are destroyed - with dangerous access to the top. This means the tower must have moved. I wonder when it will topple?
