Pillar good. Spider centre open. All sight holes open, centre bolt viewable. FB faces SW ~210. Completed 12th September 1949. Secondary station in Block NS29, Greenock. Parked in forest car park at NS105967. Followed mapped track to NS109929 then unmapped tracks in fire breaks (breaks on 1:25K map) to NS108922. Due south for 200m fighting the trees on a slippy steep slope and out onto open hill. South all the way to the summit keeping west above the crags. Decended NE heading directly to Beinn Bheag and the trig on Cruach Bhuide. Beinn Mhor is probably more easily approached from the south via Glen Massan. Photographed 17/07/2007, GRP.
