We were in the area to visit the nearby trig point for the YSM Cache series and visited the church while here. Lovely views from the churchyard.

Was at the converted trig point on the other side of the reservoir. Great views from the church Have had many visits up to this church over the years some geocaching others from my mispent youth ahh those were the days.

St Bartholomew's Church built on site of Saxon place of worship. Current building, Grade I listed, dates from approx 1175, tower 1601, major restoration 1880's. There is a benchmark rivet at the SW corner.
