(704) Very impressive. Missed out on a chance to log the CBM + Bolt as the churchyard was closed for the day. Will definitely revisit.

This is a sort of love/hate relationship I have with these intersected entries. I hate them because they need no real effort to visit them, some 'triggers' can log 20/30/40 such in a day using the motorised chariot or wheeled horse but...... Some of them I love because they are real treasures if you can investigate the building, and this is a true gem. Beverley Minster is the most impressive 'Parish Church' I've ever seen and the most wonderful 'grand church/minster/cathedral' ever. Not pompous like York Minster or over gratified like Westminster Cathedral or St Paul's - just more subtlety stated You don't have to be a Christian to appreciate this church, anyone with any degree of understanding of (any) faith, architecture, art and love should enjoy a visit to this house of faith. And..... it's currently free to enter unlike some of the of the religious houses our predecessors have already paid to build

Very impressive building, I couldn't resist nipping through the churchyard gate to visit the Cut BM + Bolt at the base of the SW tower.

Now that's what I call a church! In fact I could see the IS from where I stayed the nicht - In Beverley Friary which is a Youth Hostel. In fact its an excellent place to stay and recently refurbished. Shame I was the only person staying there.

The best minster in the UK (York Minster is a cathedral so I don't count it as a minster). Had a look inside too.
