At both mast locations there seems to be some stonework left in the ground that appears aligned rather than randomly discarded, so those may be remains of mast bases or stay points.

Masts location The east mast was on the sandy area above the stone sea wall and the west mast beyond the left-hand end of the grass-covered dune.
