A beautiful viewpoint, a pleasant walk up from the waterworks with Alma Aurea. Hill is named Ben Bragar, not Ben Bragor. Have flagged to admins.

Bagged this hill with great views a number of times as I used to own the restaurant on the main road across the way in Shawbost.

Drove to the water works, short hop up the hill to the trig with nephew Andrew. Took in 4 other local tumps on a pleasant 11k walk before returning to the car. Pillar retains original top cap with deeply indented lettering; rear sight hole open. Extensive panoramic views of most (all?) of North Lewis.

I had an extra day on Lewis after some car problems prevented me catching my planned ferry. Found my way to this TP. Not the most exciting hill but good views. TP in good condition and a short distance from cairn.

lovely little climb up a hill that rises striaght out the peat bog. Kept to the left of the buildings a the end of the road to try and get some shelter from the wind. Excellent rock formations on the way up with Lewis granite streaking through the rock.

vgc, metal cap, deep letters. Fine rock and grass summit, wild desolate view. Tarmac road in from N serves Scottish Water compound. Keep a bit R of beeline initially to find a way thru crags. Windy squally day.
