Often stopped here to look at the ' Mother and Child' sculpture but prior to trigpointing hadn't spotted the block. It must be one of the easiest to find anywhere. A good place to breathe in the sea air and gaze across to the Lakeland peaks

Walked past this countless times completely oblivious to it's existence. Uncovered & visible. Good views across the bay normally, but not today. Photo from visit on 17/11/14.

Easy to find near sign - still uncovered. The Bay looking good with the tide falling and a westerly blowing waves and clouds.

SD47 T094 BLOCK. Found on surface behind welcome to Morecambe sign. 2" bolt. Gave it a little tidy anyway.
