2nd of a 3-trig mini tour of Scotland. I had a fantastic sunny ramble up from the Funicular railway base station. There's plenty of parking, and a clear path all the way to the top. The clouds were scraping the top of Braeriach over the valley, but Ben Macdhui was giving out the 360 views! There were loads of deer just off the top n'all.

An easy walk up from the Cairngorm ski centre car park. Still lots of snow on the plateau, but as it was melting made some difficulties with us disappearing into melt water under the snow in places, especially around Lochan Buidhe when crossing to Cairngorm summit. Good weather allowed for some views, but don't see much from the plateau, better at Cairngorm. We had a snow bunting pose on top of the trig pillar for us. Very disappointed with the artificial path from Cairngorm summit down to the Ptarmigan Station.
