(2329) Short walk to the location from the car park. Struck a couple of false positives, but the block itself went unfound. Plenty of golfers out today, so felt a bit conscious digging about. One to return to.

Found the location, no problem, but didn't have any digging equipment. Scratted around with a bit of stone, but didn't know where to dig amongst the rocks so, not surprisingly, failed to find the block.

First of day sunny but cold early on found CJO s rocks easily ground was loose after asbowns visit yesterday fine views.

SE22 T154 BLOCK. 2" bolt with BM in concrete at summit of a small hill. Found 4" deep in rough patch of grass between two well-trodden paths. Left with two 10" square stone blocks piled adjacent to assist future visitor's locate this trig. The block was within the only patch of nettles to be seen. This one was hard to find as there are lots of large buried rocks in the vicinity.
