Up the usual route from the car park off the a835 to the An Cabar summit and then across the plateau to the main summit. Decent path the whole way although it's closer to a flight of stairs in places. Nice cairn to shelter in on the An Cabar summit and shelter cairn round the pillar too. In good condition apart from the missing cap.

Log #114. Usual route - parked at the Garbat car park on the A835 and followed the track. Sat at the bottom of the stairs and had a half-sandwich to try and build up some resolve. Had another break for 5 mins at the boulder, and made slow progress but reached the cairn at An Cabar eventually. The section along the bealach from An Cabar > Carn a' Chaiptein > Glas Leathad Mor was a sprint by comparison before stopping at the trig point. Pillar is in good condition, with cap missing and BSM style flush bracket. Still quite a lot of snow of the eastern side of the hill, and I couldn't resist making some snowballs. Spent maybe 20 mins at the summit plateau for photos and a snack before heading for home. I skipped the An Cabar summit on the way back by skirting around the western edge of the hill - it joins back up to the main path before the top of the stairs. I wouldn't recommend doing that in wet weather or low visibility though, as it'd be really easy to slip and roll down the coire. The stairs were an absolutely knee-destroyer on the way back down, and I was getting weary by the time I got back to the river. I couldn't really give it any less than 10/10, as the weather was incredible - mild, no breeze, high visibility. Sitting at home now, with a beer and ice packs on my knees, I'm proud to say that's my first munro ticked off! [ExP-103/MiP-2/Rev-1/BM-8]

The trig is partially protected by a low wall of stones and is in good condition. Return via Tom A'Choinnich and then following the Allt a Gharbh Bhad down off the hill was an interesting variation.
