A blowy walk along the pier. Couldn't find the rivet, but the pier has been altered many times. Amazing to think, as you gaze across the sands, that steamers used to stop here on their way to the Lakes from Liverpool.

SD30 T425 RIVET. On teh SW side of the pier next to a small kink in the fence, just before the cafe. Possibly lost when the pier was redecked, or its on the steelwork on the edge of the pier that is now "trimmed" with a plank of wood. Had a fish and chip lunch to cheer ourselves up having not found this one.
