Arrived Crossens on the 07.30 X2 Liverpool bus from Preston.I couldn't get close enough to touch it due to Marsh being saturated, just close enough to confirm it is still there. On towards Southport now visiting destroyed block sites along the way.

Found it lying where CJO described. The salt marsh is getting wetter as winter approaches

SD30 T422 BLOCK. Spent quite a while poking around on the top of the sea defences asking several passing dog walkers if the defences had been increased in height as we found nothing solid anywhere. Then in despair caste eyes down the bank and there it was, toppled onto is top. Turning it over revealed a broken off rod-type rivet but confirmed it was indeed the block. May well be under water at high tide, so plan ahead and bring wellies!!

Banks Marsh found at bottom of bank
Banks Marsh rod rivet largly dissolved, not admirality brass?
