GPS put this just on top of a rocky knoll overlooking the firth. There is some rock debris on top of the little rise which probably came from road building. I don't think it's very deep and the bolt may be tantalisingly just below this layer. Nice spot.

There has been much council road activity hereabouts over the years eg boulders brought here from elsewhere so bolt could be buried or gone!

Grassy rocky knoll at roadside with easy parking, but 15 mins probing failed to find bolt or even much in the way of decent slabby outcrop to hold one. Maybe I just missed it. Nice location though.

Should be on this knoll or so my waypoint suggested
