From Bernera Farm to Bealach Lachrach then direct. Drifted across to Glas Bheinn summit after. Pillar sits in a cairn with rocks obscuring rear and left sight holes. Some minor chipping to top edges otherwise good. Front and RHS sight holes closed; original metal top cap in place with indented lettering. An extensive panorama presents itself. With Mrs G.

Greta viewpoint for the currents streaming out of Kyle Rhea. The hill is Glas-bheinn and is easily climbed via a forest road and a short bog trot. The view is well worth the effort, with the currents and a good view into the wilds beyond Kintail, towards Torridon and the Raasay group of islands.
