Sooo much old stuff in York this church couldn't get itself listed. But the spire's good, more than can be said for the cut benchmark lower down that's 98% weathered away.

Impressive spire. there is also a cutmark at site although I did not see it today The first Methodist society in Clifton met in a cottage in the 1870s and in April 1884 the Avenue Terrace Chapel was opened. A larger chapel on the site of 'Clifton Cottage' was opened in 1909.
