Also parked alongside the enclosed pond, and somehow managed to entangle myself around the first barbed wire fence: blood flowed and clothes ripped. (Not usually this careless.) Then a splashy walk across several boggy fields to reach the drystone wall, and then the trig. Pillar has its cap, and one s/h is open.

Parked at fishing pond and jumped ditch and climbed barbed fence into field to west. Walked across field to white marker post and found a piece of barbed wire I could untangle and then cross another fence. Then the fun began! Very boggy field enroute to trig which is the other side of a wall, which all needs climbed if you want to hug the trig, although I did spot a gate on the way back.

Revisit for updated photographs and GPS reading. Approached from northeast, easy roadside parking by scrub land. Up via plot to west of pond then out onto larger plot which climbs almost to top. Pillar stands in plot to south of mapped boundary wall. Grazing land. Column in good condition. Spider retains original OS centre plug with deep indented letters. Flush bracket faces NNW, ~331. Vented through SW sight hole. 360 open outlook from trig.
