(Revisit) A quick revisit so my little trigbagger could bag #91. Pillar access as easy as before and as everyone else - we parked in the Beulah car park, nipped over (carefully) the road, scrabbled up the wall, through the trees and undergrowth, and the pillar sits handily on the 'good' side of the farmyard. Since my last visit a few years back, the landowners have constructed a boundary of shipping container material, but have still been considerate enough to leave a cut-out so that the pillar can be visited freely; no need to be asking permission. The barbed wire fence has pretty much collapsed, so your only obstacle is the wall here.

Park in the Beulah pub car park, take a right, cross the road & climb the wall onto the low embankment about the second lamp post & you're there. Bet you can't stand on the top of it though, Squeeky my mascot did & has the photograph to prove it!

Scrambled up the wall and banking from the road and found quite easily. The surroundings of this pillar seem to have changed considerably recently. The area has been cleared up and a large ramshackle wall constructed of corrugated steel (side of a container?) and scaffold boards right over the pillar. At least the pillar has been kept intact. The barbed wire fence remains and though leaning over its not possible to touch the pillar without trampling down the fence further so viewed from outside. There is also a young tree growing preventing the direct view so several factors are conspiring to envelop this one but it's hanging in there!

I climbed up, pushed through the overgrown vegetation and the pillar is sitting just inside a wire fence. There were a few vehicles about, but I couldn't see anyone to ask for access. The pillar is surrounded by piles of debris, building materials, rubble and car tyres; indeed, there is a big stack of old tyres pushing the wire fence over, making it a very easy quick hop. The trig is in pretty good condition, especially considering its unloved location.

Didn't think this one was there, but found it tucked behind a hedge. It is on private property.

Trig pillar in good condition. Spider has OS centre cap with raised lettering, obviously a replacement cap in an older pillar. Bagged this one in the dark and got zapped by an electric fence.
