Good condition with plugged cap. Circular walk from Abernethy. Approached via Drumcairn. If you are looking for an alternative route of descent off the hill be warned that it is infested with deer fences and barb wire!

Good condition pillar on a crowded hilltop with a load of masts. Easily accessed from parking at Binn Eco Park and walk up the metalled road. Good views. FB faces south-ish with north-ish sighthole open only. Cap present with sunken lettering.

Sunday is a good day to visit as the enormous recycling/rubbish site isn't operating. You can drive all the way through and park past the waste wood mountain on the left. Up road, over gate and short stroll to trig beside mast - dead easy. Misty so no views, probably decent if you look away from the facility.

I was a bit worried, driving up the access road to the land fill, that I would be turned back but found a car park near the main office. I asked in the office if it was ok to walk up to the trig point and they were extremely helpful and told me that I could drive right up to the start of the track at NO176139. from there it was an easy walk up to the TP. Unfortunately the presence of the landfill site (remarkably unsmelly compared to some) and themasts at the top of the hill detract from this TP which is in good condition with cap with lettering intact. Full marks though for the friendly, helpful staff at the landfill facility.

Parked someway up the busy lorry road, and then over the hill climbing/scrambling through five gates/fences to reach this one. Slight crack above FB number, but otherwise ok, cap remains in place with deep indented lettering, and one sight-hole open. Fine view towards Loch Leven, but this is a necessarily noisy and malodorous place.

Appropriately named hill. Parked in skip hire compound and climed up the muddy trck to unattractive summit. Could hear the shooting on Pilour Hill that prevented my next planned ascent.

Revisit. Pillar good. Spider retains OS plug with deep indented lettering. Back sight hole open, others plugged. FB faces south ~179°. Views from summit spoiled by clutter of cabins for comms masts. More blurb T/F.

Glad its winter... Bet it mings rotten in summer. Feel sorry for the farmer - and the folk of Glenfarg. Bet they thought the lorries were gone when the M90 was opened. First time down the glen since the motorway opened. Great view northward though. Big snowy things everywhere. Surprisingly easy access what with the landfill road. Expected to have to work a bit harder for this one, Intact
