Nudging 1000 feet high up on the edge of the Cotswold west facing scarp. Nicely overlooks Birdlip village from grassy summit on FP, but too much traffic noise.

While offspring is in Caithness logging pillars that even Iainmac probably can't pronounce, I'm back in Middle England! This one's on a footpath just out of the village of Birdlip in the middle of an old-fashioned hay meadow with lots of different grasses and a multitude of butterflies. Where have all these meadows gone??? Anyway, the original plug is there with indented letters and everything is all intact with a little paint still showing. Distant views all round and nearby over Birdlip village. A nice place!
