(200) And bagging this trig takes me to 200 logged. Only another - insert very large number here - to go! An interesting one, with some WWII history attached to it. There is just something about disused/former Railway stations, isn't there...

Former railway station with impressive architecture. Pity that the swing bridge has gone; the replacement viaduct is functional but lacks interest.

Nice old station building with a substantial chimney to rear which seems to service multiple individual chimneys of the pots are counted. Track bed converted to a nicely mown lawn.

Station INT061 computed to 3rd order in 1950 and reported destroyed in October 1962. However, Old Maps and old photographs show that an existing chimney stack was the intersect and the only change has been the replacement of six tall chimney pots by short ones fitted with wire net domes to keep birds out. The station was closed in 1970 but is occupied by an enthusiast who has posted various signs and old photos of the location.
