The tower is long gone, and would have been on the edge of what appears to be an ex munitions factory, which is now trading as Chemring Countermeasures. All visitors have to divest themselves of anything ignitable.

Opened 1930 as a civilian flying club, various other users including RCAF and RAF before closing 1947. Part of site is currently industrial, largely it's returned to agricultural use. OS records a Bolt and Centre, both destroyed March 1950. No tower of any description now in evidence at indicated GR.
